Verse 1
This boy raised in an abusive home
hiding in the closet trying to call for help on the phone
his father screams come on out or you'll be all alone
I'll take your mother away to a place far away and unknown
he felt helpless being a juvenile and while he hid
his father hit his mother and being so hostile and vile the kid
had no choice but to call 911
but he was found before he could as his mother yelled out Hide son run
his father kicked him in the teeth
and pulled him out by his hair
and tied him down to a chair
he thought to himself why is life so unfair
this is more than I can bare

Verse2
young boy grew up into an adult
now with a woman he claims to love but blames everything as all her fault
He gets angry and resorts to insults
and before you know it he's going into fits of rage and violent assault
This is all she's ever known as her father was prone
to make her cry and groan and now that she is grown
she seems to be seen gravitating to men who blow up too easy and leave these
women in a state of distress feeling they've nothing left
death threats are uttered he may even cut her
to keep her in fear and under control
then says sorry I didn't mean it you know I love you with all soul

Verse 3
From young kid to adult now old man
on his death bed with no one with whom he can hold hands
he's all alone with no flowers or cards at his night stand
he had many dreams and this was not at all part of the plan
now he has so many regrets
memories he wished he could forget
so many women he has bruised
abused and confused and misused

Verse 4
Okay now men what seems to be the problem
when you act out this way toward women you rob them
of their joy their peace and security
from a boy to a man and still lacking maturity

when you try to control other with anger and force
you loose control of yourself and then of course
all hell breaks loose and the devil has an invitation
to wreck havoc with your life and aspirations

you can't blame anyone else for you actions
you have the ability to choose your reactions
perhaps then your trapped in a cycle of sin
it happens and that's when it's time to begin

to seek help don't let your pride get in the way
it's time to speak out and decide it's not ok
to batter and bruise another individual
and know that abuse can be metal and not just in the physical.
