Verse 1
Genevieve had conceived as a young teen
she thought I can't believe this has happened to me
is it all a dream or reality I'm not ready for a family was her mentality
now she is faced with options
should she keep him, abort, or give him up for adoption

This girl named Carrie carried a child while unmarried
It was very scary thoughts running wild and wary
she thought I'm barely in a position to prepare the
way for the baby maybe I should just bury
the evidence through abortion but of course then
I will lose more than just a child perhaps a portion
of my sanity but then again I don't want my parents mad at me

she went to the local pregnancy care centre to discuss
what she should do and was presented with the facts
and told what ever you choose we'll support you in that
she chose to find her child a new home
the centre helped her through it she didn't have to do it alone
she was happy that she could choose who adopts her baby girl
they planned an open adoption so she could still be part of her world

Verse 3
A girl named Janet got pregnant and didn't plan it
feels her future has been stolen away from a bandit
thinking this will cause a huge disadvantage
now she doesn't know how she's going to manage
was told it's a simple procedure
with no side effects they deceived her
now she sure found out quick now sick to her stomach
too late she's done it this is no movie it's real life she can't rerun it
now fighting depression and suicidal obsession
with nightmares of her unborn asking this question
mommy don't you love me what about my choice you took it from me
then she awakens to some upsetting information
the abortion can increase the risk of future pregnancy complications
and a possible higher risk of breast cancer
so sad that when she asked if it was safe yes was their best answer
