Verse1
There's a tornado coming everyone is running to get to safety
some say a prayer Lord please get me through this safely
in complete horror they move forward to seek refuge
a father grabs his daughter tells her to follow but then she refused
she said I'm not leaving until retrieving my puppy steven
he said we could die if we don't hide from this storm that's proceeding
If we try to save him we may not reach a safe haven
we must get under ground now or see an early grave then
meanwhile the storm is raging its direction unchanging
the rooftops on houses mighty winds are raising
this is the big one that filled many people with dread
buildings ripped to shreds leaving many families dead
the father picked up his daughter and brought her into the cellar
she wouldn't calm down no matter what he'd tell her
and as he began to close the door to use as a shield
she ran out to try and save her dog now her fate has been sealed

Verse2
Around the world strikes another disaster
the waters rising up and coming in faster
a 9.5 magnitude earth quake hit
caused a tsunami now many won't make it
but that doesn't stop them from trying
hope keeps them on the move as well as the thought of dying
some people climb to the roof others seek higher ground
but that won't help them now many of them will drown
the others get crushed from the rushing water and debris
houses and trees obliterated nothing made it free
finally the water began to recede
the surrounding area lived to tell the power of the sea
before they died some people cried God save our lives
others ask why if there's a God would he allow this demise
where is God in all of this trouble here on the earth
forgetting about the forbidden fruit and the curse

Verse 3
The world acted in compassion many asking what can I do
many offered money to fund the relief effort sent to improve
on the aftermath tragedy that they see on the news
one love one world how can they refuse
some traveled to the location facing the devastation
with no hesitation they race in funded by donations
they volunteer their time with no thought of reward
this catastrophe has to be dealt with it can't be ignored
some say if there's a God by him we've been forsaken
where was he when this planet was erupting and shaken
how could he allow all of these lives to be taken
clearly there's no God those who believe are mistaken
but wait he can be seen moving through those who obey
God is in those who chose come to save the day
he is in the donations that help with the restoration
for those who are facing complete desperation
