I wrestle with my demons when they come out to play
some times I give in and slip slip slip away
I end up entertaining them and then I have to pay

I know I know better but will I ever learn

Sometimes I feel like I'm under their possession
my mind goes places I don't wanna be confessing
If I'm not careful I could fall into depression
and loose control and act out in aggression

I just wanna be free I need my peace but I can't hold it

The enemy is strong but he who is in me is stronger
when I pray I feel can stand temptation longer
I can defeat the wicked spiritual warmongers
who wish to devour my soul oh how they hunger
Jesus sees us struggle in pieces we're like a puzzle
he frees us from separation without him I never was whole
He puts me back together and he is the missing piece
walking with him I do better and my strength has increased
